Kudu Fm History
The name KUDU can be pronounced - and means the same antelope - in all the indigenous languages of Namibia.
KUDU Fm started broadcasting in Windhoek - the Capital of Namibia - at 06h00 on the morning of Monday, 30th of November 1998.
KUDU Fm is a welcome Friend to the Listener and at the same time an excellent Marketing Tool for the Business community.

Kudu Fm Market
KUDU Fm plays researched music to the taste of Namibians aged between 16 and 49 in the LSM 8/9 & 10 group. We use the official language of Namibia - English - although, if a story gets a better response in Afrikaans or German, we do not hesitate.
KUDU Fm's walls are covered with e-mails from all over the world thanking us for being their companion while visiting Namibia. And those thousands who just listen to us on the Internet.
Our survey of calls to KUDU Fm's studios shows the following: Ages: 16 - 24 = 24%; 25 - 34 = 35%; 35 - 49 = 34% and 50+ = 7% with the male/female ratio about 50:50.
Kudu Fm Accomplishments
KUDU Fm is the first station in Namibia using the RDS system.
KUDU Fm runs up to date Weather Reports, B.B.C. + local News Bulletins and local news.
KUDU Fm's strength lies in our professional on-air Presenters. We are very strong on Sports - providing up to date results as it happens. Business information gets updated regularly throughout the day.
Because of our exciting Presenters, companies are turning to KUDU Fm for their Outside Broadcasts from their premises and Talks (interviews about their products/services/company) achieving spectacular instant results.
KUDU Fm regularly does 52 broadcasts per year directly from clients floors!!!!
